Shoppers and their mobiles are rarely parted – and with a 2012 survey showing that 64% of smartphone owners now use the small screen to shop online, it’s not a trend that’s likely to decline. But while customers venture ever-further into the mobile ether, it’s not all doom and gloom for brick-and-mortar retailers.
Nick Pryke spoke with Christophe Labedan, Managing Director for France & Southern Europe, from the leading in-store media specialists Mood Media, to open up on where the in-store experience is heading.
