Karen Morris, now SVP & Chief Innovation Officer at Chartis Insurance, one of the world’s largest general insurance companies, began her career as a barrister in private practice with a leading global law firm, Morgan Lewis & Bockius. In 2004, she took her own advice – stepped outside of the box – and took on the role of heading up global insurance operations, innovation and product development at AIU Holdings before moving to Chartis Insurance, where she specializes in innovation strategy and execution in order to identify new growth platforms.
