Here at MeetTheBoss we pride ourselves on the quality of our content. So what better way to share with you the best of the best, the cream of the crop, the crème de la crème, every Friday for the week’s best content, than with a weekly roundup?!

As you may already know, as well as the broadcasts of our all-star thought-leader video interviews, we stage MeetTheBoss virtual roundtables focusing on technology and marketing-based topics, in which a group of senior business executives join together to discuss challenges and solutions.

This week we hosted three roundtables; two virtual roundtables on all things GRC and a marketing agency roundtable focusing on online video advertising – both received great feedback. On the content side of things, two interviews and a digital publishing blog post went live this week all of which can be found on the MeetTheBoss website and across our social media channels.

Social attendee of the week

Emma Carter, Founder of Beyond Creative Thinking – attended our online video advertising roundtable on Wednesday and gave this feedback…

“I thought it was really interesting. I liked the way you asked everyone their opinion so there was an equal say from all. Thanks for the opportunity to take part. I’d happily get involved again.”

This week’s interviews

If you haven’t had the chance to browse our video channels this week, or didn’t spot our latest additions, here they are again:

For the CIO channel: “Big Data: Build it Well” – Ian McVey, Director, Interxion

There may be many shades of grey but we think there are only two types of CIO: cost led or innovation led. If you’re in the latter camp, this program is for you – why real-time big data could be your Sputnik moment – if you build it well…

“Big data isn’t a new concept.  It’s effectively the evolution of IT from the one moment in which one computer took over manual processes and started to crunch information faster than a human could calculate it.”

“We’ve interviewed 750 IT decision makers across 11 countries in Europe, and one of the things we’ve found is that today, only 25 percent of companies have reviewed big data and made the business case for change.”

For the CMO Channel: “E-Commerce For Electrical Wholesalers” – Steven Kramer Executive Vice President Sales Americas, Hybris

“What we’ve been seeing over the last ten years even is that the adoption of B2B is really segment-focused, so there’d be one segment that will start to adopt B2B mostly because of competitive reasons.”

Weekly poll: we want your thoughts…

Finally, we’re always interested in what you think about what we’re doing – any feedback you may have is welcomed with open arms. So, be brutally honest.

Does digital publishing mark the end of the road for print?

Feel free to give your response in the comments box below, tweet us your thoughts or even start a discussion on our Linkedin group. Until next Friday, that’s all folks! Enjoy the weekend!
