How do you reduce complexity and risk in healthcare data protection?

Cybersecurity for healthcare: data protection in an age of advanced threats

February 20, 2018 6:00 pm GMT

According to recent research from the Ponemon Institute, nearly 90% of all healthcare organizations suffered at least one data breach in the past two years. A separate study from Raytheon suggests that healthcare organizations are twice as likely to suffer a data breach than those in other industries. Clearly, data protection is a critical issue.

Indeed, healthcare providers are increasingly challenged by the growing costs and complexity associated with data protection – not least because the threats have never been more varied or numerous. Along with the challenge of recovering data in the face of advanced cyber attacks, organizations also need to get a better handle on data management as SLAs become more tringent and workloads go live across multiple clouds.

So how do healthcare providers tackle this challenge? What do they need to do to ensure their enterprise-wide data protection needs are met, safeguard their most critical clinical applications and meet increasingly stringent healthcare security and regulatory requirements? Join this roundtable to find out.
